Bowbridge as an Extended School

First of all, what is an extended school?

A school that works with local providers (and in many cases other schools) to provide access to a core offer of extended services:

  • childcare 8am-6pm, all year round;
  • parenting and family support;
  • a varied range of activities (study support), including sport and music clubs;
  • swift and easy referral to specialist services such as speech therapy and health drop ins;
  • community use of facilities including adult and family learning and ICT.

What we are doing at Bowbridge
